Website Recognized as a 2005 "Best Practice" in Government by the Texas Association of Counties

Constable Bruce Elfant and Constable5.com have been recognized by the Texas Association of Counties Leadership Foundation. The website was awarded a 2005 "Best Practices" award for exceptional service delivery to constituents.

The Online Service Check Application allows individuals to search the civil process records over the Internet 24 hours a day. The service has had a substantial effect on reducing the number of incoming phone calls to the office which frees staff to assign and deliver papers in the shortest amount of time.

This system was developed using existing office equipment and county resources at no additional cost to the Travis County taxpayer.
