2017 Great Texas Warrant Roundup

Friday, February 10, 2017

En Español

The annual Great Texas Warrant Roundup is coming to Travis County, February 25, 2017. The Precinct 5 Constable and Justice of the Peace are joining forces with over 350 law enforcement agencies around the state to locate and close all open Class C misdemeanor warrants.

Most misdemeanor warrants are for traffic-related violations, but also include citations for disorderly conduct and minors in possession of alcohol. Fines can escalate when the violator fails to appear in court or to follow a judge’s order.

If you have – or think you have – an unpaid citation, now is the time to call us or stop by our office to pay your fine. You are subject to arrest if the fines are not paid. Don’t wait for the deputy to find you, call the Constable’s office at 512-854-5557. The Constable 5 office is located in the Holt Building at 1003 Guadalupe St., across from the Heman Marion Sweatt Travis County Courthouse.
